The Northwave Striker MTB shoes are designed for demanding riders seeking versatility on the trails. They combine effective power transfer with a comfortable fit so that you can cover long distances without compromising on performance. With carefully composed components and low weight, these shoes are a great partner for every ride, from fast sprints to long distances.
Sole and fit
The Carbon XC 13 sole has a full carbon insert at the pedal zone for efficient power transfer and, therefore, improved performance. The sole has extra flexibility in the centre to increase comfort over longer distances. Strategically placed TPU inserts provide good grip and make the sole durable. The minimalist design uses materials only where needed for optimal efficiency, contributing to the shoe's low weight.
Extras and finishes
The shoe features an open mesh tongue that improves airflow, ensuring adequate ventilation and comfort while biking. Integrated perforations in the upper optimise breathability and help with thermoregulation, keeping your feet cool. Lightweight thermally welded TPU reinforcements protect against tears and abrasions while maintaining a minimalist and light design. Fibres directed into the heel prevent slipping and ensure a firm and secure fit.
